NHIN prototype, Rd 2

This was a proof of concept prototype for the NHIN. There were 4 competing approaches that were demonstrated at a public meeting. Apelon performed the clinical data mapping (diagnosis to SNOMED CT, Allergies to SNOMED CT and RxNOrm, and lab to LOINC) for the Accenture-led prototype. Accenture's prototype was the only prototype to attempt data normalization, the crucial step to achieve semantic interoperability.
